Light a Candle for Truth and Justice |
All societies need a minimum moral sense in order
to survive. The crisis that grips the nation over revelations of high-level
corruption in the National Broadband Network–ZTE deal is only the surface of a
deep rot at the center of our failing state. It is primarily a moral and not
just a political concern when governance ceases to be an instrument for good
but instead uses its awesome power to suppress the truth and obstruct justice.
When truth has fallen in the public square, it is a sign that evil has grown
strong in the land. (Jeremiah 9:3)

Bible Study Guides on Integral Mission and other themes Launched |

The Institute for Studies in Asian Church and Culture (ISACC) launched the first of a series of Bible study materials during the Micah Forum held at the ATS on July 21, 2007. The Bible study materials is ISACC’s contribution to Micah Challenge Philippines. The Bible study materials will serve as tool kits to equip the church communities and faith-based organizations in the area of integral missions, good governance and theGospel as it relates to our culture.

Faith-based groups and individuals joined together for the
Faith Based-Congress against Illegitimate Debts last October 15, 2007,
9:00-12:00nn, at the Maryhill School of Theology (MST) in E.Rodriguez corner Gilmore St., Quezon
City.
The faith-based congress aimed to unify faith-based groups
and individuals on the immorality and illegitimacy of debt and to form a broad
faith-based network against the debt.
